G.R.O.W. GROUPS

The name describes their purpose and function, growth, spiritual growth for individuals in the group, and numerical growth as we invite people who don’t know Jesus to find out more in a non-threatening, friendly community. Our prayer is that everyone who joins a group would eventually find God for themselves and  grow to become mature disciples who can also make disciples and fulfill the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20

The acronym G.R.O.W.  describes the function of a group

G   Gifts

A G.R.O.W.  group is a place where people can have the opportunity to use their spiritual gifts and natural talents and abilities to serve one another in the group, the church and the community.

R   Relationships

A G.R.O.W.  group is a place where people can connect, build friendships and encourage and support one another.

O   Outreach

A G.R.O.W.  group is a place where people can pray for and invite unsaved friends and family. Having an empty chair at each session is a good reminder of this purpose.

W  Word

A G.R.O.W.  group is a place where people learn about, and become rooted and grounded in the Word of God
