Calvary Worship Center at UBC exists to shine the light of Christ through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our local community. We believe in the power of the Word of God, the edification of the body of Christ and the movement of His Spirit through our worship.
Our service begins at 5:00 pm and we meet at 5920 Ioana Dr in the Lecture Hall. As you enter the Carey Centre you will be greeted by a Calvary member, who can also help you if you have any questions or need assistance. Upon entering the foyer you will receive a bulletin which has space for personal note taking during the sermon, as well as other information about upcoming events.
Our praise and worship is Holy Spirit led and multicultural, so you may hear some songs with parts sung in different languages!! The Holy Spirit moves here, and you are encouraged to worship freely. Our Pastor’s from the pastoral team will share a message supported by Biblical scriptures that will have you feeling inspired to grow deeper in the Word of God and in your relationship with God. Our service typically run for 75 minutes with an opportunity for you to give a financial offering or through your worship.
All first time visitors receive a special gift as we appreciate you taking the time to come and visit us and check out our church family.
If you are wondering what to wear when coming to church on a Sunday, we encourage you to dress comfortably and modestly. As a church filled with people of different nations, you will see a variety of styles, but most people dress casually.

In the quiet solemnity of Good Friday, we pause to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. Before we celebrate His resurrection, we take time to remember His suffering and death. This is a powerful, contemplative service. (Please note: There will be Friday Evening Children’s Class available)
