When God Disrupts your Plan
When Jesus Christ was born that first Christmas, nobody expected it. It was totally unplanned. Nobody had made any plans for it at all. In fact, it disrupted up everybody’s plans. It disrupted King Herod’s plan because he wanted to be king of the Jews and here was a Messiah coming. It disrupted the shepherd’s plan because they were planning on another quiet night with the sheep. It disrupted the religious leaders’ plans because they were expecting a political leader Messiah who would come and set them free from Roman captivity. But most of all, it disrupted Mary and Joseph’s plans. So why does God disrupt our plans?
